Joseph Lubin, CEO of Consensys, wrote: "Ethereum Layer 1 will become the master ledger of the world. It will allow anyone to view, use, and add data or functionality without permission, with trusted neutrality and censorship resistance. It is tamper-proof and verifiable (through forfeiture and transparency), and it continues to advance its own decentralization process. It has a large community at the top of its game, which is always on high alert because there will always be patient and well-resourced actors trying to break the system. Fortunately, as Ethereum grows and matures, it will become increasingly difficult to break the system."
