Coinbase has launched Coinbase Payments for commerce platforms, a USDC-based payment solution for commerce platforms. It has been launched on Shopify. Coinbase Payments aims to reduce the platform's dependence on blockchain technology, help PSPs, marketplaces and e-commerce infrastructure quickly access stablecoin payments, support low-cost access, no additional deployment required by merchants, and plans to support programmable incentive functions in the future.
