According to Cointelegraph, the Meta Pool crypto protocol was hacked. The attackers successfully minted 9,705 mpETH tokens, worth nearly $27 million, using the "quick unstake" function and the ERC4626 mint () function vulnerability. However, due to the low liquidity of the affected pool, the hackers ended up stealing only about 52.5 ETH (about $132,000) from the liquidity pool. The Meta Pool early detection system detected and suspended the affected smart contracts in time, preventing further losses.
