US media: Israel says Iran is close to building a nuclear bomb, but US intelligence says it is "still very early"?

But according to four people familiar with the matter, the U.S. intelligence assessment reached a different conclusion - not only is Iran not actively seeking to build a nuclear weapon, but it is still three years away from being able to produce one and deliver it to a target of its choosing. Despite days of Israeli airstrikes, U.S. intelligence officials now believe that Israel may have set back Iran's nuclear program by at most a few months, according to a U.S. official. Although Israel caused significant damage to Iran's nuclear facility at Natanz, another fortified uranium enrichment site at Fordo was not actually affected.
