The latest report from TheMinerMag shows that the cost of bitcoin mining is expected to exceed $70,000 in the second quarter of 2025, an increase of about 9.4% from $64,000 in Quarter 1. This cost increase is mainly driven by the increase in network hash rate and the increase in energy prices, especially the energy costs of mining companies such as Terawulf have doubled compared to the same period last year.
