B3, a well-known Brazilian exchange, today opened trading in Ethereum and Solana futures contracts. In addition, B3 has also adjusted existing bitcoin futures contracts to reduce costs and attract domestic retail investors. These alternative currency contracts are mainly for international customers.
Two months ago, B3 became the first exchange in the world to launch an XRP ETF. The development was helped by improved regulatory environments in Brazil, which is aiming to become a cryptocurrency hub. Today, B3 has further solidified Brazil's position in the industry by launching new futures contracts based on Solana and Ethereum.
