Hong Kong-based virtual bank Mox said it hopes to offer virtual asset ETFs to customers through the Mox Invest securities trading platform, and is currently in the preparatory work, including preparing to submit relevant applications and launch them after regulatory approval. Issuers actively deploy securities firms and bank distribution products. Retail investors initially purchase through mainstream securities firms, including Interactive Brokers, Morgan Stanley, Futu Securities International, Huatai International, and Guotai Junan International. At present, it has discussed cooperation with more than 20 brokerage channels.
In addition, all six ETF custodians are BOC International UK Prudential Trust. The spokesperson bluntly stated that since the Securities Supervision Commission allowed fund companies to issue cryptocurrency spot ETFs last year, many fund company customers in the market plan to issue products. It will actively cooperate with the demand and provide relevant custody services. However, BOC Hong Kong has not been listed, and HSBC has not updated it.
