Deutsche Handelsblatt reported on Monday that negotiators in Brussels want to accept a 10 percent U.S. tariff on all European Union imports, which would avoid higher U.S. tariffs on cars, pharmaceuticals and electronics. Senior European Union negotiators said the European Union is ready to cut tariffs on U.S.-made cars and could change technical or legal barriers to make it easier for U.S. manufacturers to sell cars in Europe.
