While veteran trader Peter Brandt suggested on X that Bitcoin could repeat the 2022 pattern and pull back 75 per cent, cryptocurrency analysts are sceptical. "Never say never; it just doesn't feel likely at the moment," said Pav Hundal, principal analyst at Swyftx.
In November 2021, Bitcoin had hit an all-time high of $69,000, but fell by about 76% in the ensuing 12 months, falling to about $16,195 by November 2022. Brandt's question in his X post sparked widespread discussion in the community.
