US media: Israel could attack Iran as soon as Sunday, Netanyahu has informed Trump in advance

Shortly after, the U.S. began withdrawing some diplomats and military families from the Middle East. U.S. officials said intelligence received in recent days suggested Israel was preparing for a strike. When Netanyahu raised the possibility of an attack on Iran on the phone, Trump responded by saying he wanted to see the diplomatic process go smoothly before turning to military options. U.S. Special Envoy Witcoff will hold a sixth round of talks with his Iranian counterpart in Oman on Sunday.
