All three major U.S. stock indexes closed up slightly

U.S. stocks opened lower and moved higher, with all three major indexes closing slightly higher. The S & P 500 index rose 0.38%, the Dow index rose 0.24%, and the Nasdaq index rose 0.24%. Among them, the S & P 500 index hit a new closing high since the end of February, and the Dow index hit a new closing high since early March. Most of the large technology stocks rose. Microsoft and Nvidia rose more than 1%. Intel, Apple, and Amazon rose slightly. Tesla fell more than 2%. Netflix, Google, and Meta fell slightly.
