香港海关与香港大学达成合作，共同开发一款加密货币交易追踪工具，以应对日益增长的数字资产洗钱案件。海关助理关长黄浩贤表示，此举旨在打击跨境金融犯罪。
据报道，2021年至2025年5月期间，香港记录了39起重大洗钱案件，其中7起涉及加密货币，包括一起涉及18亿港元(约2.29亿美元)的可疑交易。
