A weaker dollar could help bitcoin rise again

LMAX Group strategist Joel Kruger said in a note that a weaker U.S. dollar, combined with investors' increased willingness to take risks, could help give bitcoin another boost. Bitcoin fell 1.7 percent due to trade uncertainty and concerns over tensions in the Middle East. The U.S. dollar index fell to a three-year low of 97.789. "Weakness in the U.S. dollar typically favors cryptocurrencies, and a potential rally in bitcoin and Ethereum will be supported as investors move back into riskier assets." (Golden Ten)
