Trade uncertainty and weaker-than-expected US inflation data on Wednesday combined to weigh on the dollar, which extended its decline after falling below a key level, sending it to a three-year low against a basket of currencies. The euro also rallied to a three-and-a-half-year high against the dollar, according to European Central Bank executive Schnabel, as inflation stabilised near the ECB's target.
