Bitrue hackers exchanged 16.345 million DAI for ETH and then transferred it to Tornado Cash

According to on-chain data analyst Ember, the Bitrue hacker is currently using 16.345 million DAI to buy ETH and then wash it through Tornado Cash. These DAIs were exchanged for ETH he sold for $3,885 last March. The hacker stole multiple tokens worth $23 million from the Bitrue trading platform in April 2023, and then exchanged these assets for ETH; in March 2024, he sold 4,207 ETH for $3,885 for 1634.5 DAI; 1 hour ago, he transferred DAI and ETH to a new address, and is currently buying DAI for ETH, and then washing ETH through Tornado Cash.
