Australian regulator bans former adviser involved in crypto scam from financial services for a decade

Former financial adviser Glenda Rogan has been banned from the financial services industry for a decade, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has announced. The investigation found that she transferred at least 14.80 million Australian dollars of client funds to a cryptocurrency investment scam during her tenure between March 2022 and June 2023. Rogan was an accountant and financial adviser to a group of companies called Fincare in the Sutherland and Wollongong area during the time of the misconduct.
