Blockchain fintech company Mercurity Fintech Holding Inc. today announced plans to raise $800 million to build a long-term bitcoin reserve. The company will leverage blockchain technology for digital asset management, including the deployment of institutional-grade custodial infrastructure and staking instruments, with the aim of improving asset returns and financial resilience. Meanwhile, according to the FTSE Russell preliminary list, MFH will upgrade from the Russell micro capitalization index to the Russell 2000 index.
