中国台湾将在6月12日举行“虚拟资产服务法”公听会，据悉监管机构认为目前稳定币主要作为虚拟市场的交易媒介，一旦使用规模扩大、应用场景增加，并广泛用于跨境支付，可能将影响现有支付与金融体系的健全运作；因此，作为支付用途的稳定币应接受与现行电子支付相同的监管，遵循相同业务、相同风险、相同规范原则，避免监管套利及不公平竞争。
