Bitcoin financial services platform Avalon Labs announced that it has officially destroyed 80 million governance tokens AVL, worth about 16 million US dollars, accounting for 44% of the current total circulation. The tokens destroyed this time are mainly unclaimed shares during the airdrop.
Avalon Labs launched a governance token airdrop campaign in March 2024, attracting more than 100,000 customer engagements and successfully distributing $20 million worth of AVL.
