Meta Platforms is in talks about a multibillion-dollar investment in artificial intelligence startup Scale AI, according to people familiar with the matter. Some people familiar with the matter said the financing could be worth more than $10 billion, making it one of the largest private company financings ever. Terms of the deal have not been finalized and could still change, said the people, who asked not to be identified when discussing private information. Representatives for Scale AI did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Meta declined to comment.
