Aave founder Stani Kulechov said in a post on the X platform that the impact of the new Aave staking module Umbrella has been reflected, and the Aave protocol is shifting from using AAVE as the final excess debt support to leveraging the aTokens provided by users through Umbrella staking to generate additional revenue. In addition, the Aave DAO can configure a predefined coverage amount for each staking pool, and then act as the first line of defense for the pledger's funds, achieving a balance by enabling both users and the Aave DAO to mitigate the risk of the protocol without cutting any AAVE. Aave V4 will introduce more risk management features, and the community will still prioritize user safety over other protocols that focus on taking risks and increasing tail risk.
