Lawyers for BiT Global have dropped a lawsuit against Coinbase over its removal of packaged bitcoin token wBTC just two months after it launched its competing token cbBTC. Under the agreement, the two companies will pay their respective legal fees.
BiT Global, a company backed by TRON founder Justin Sun, has become a "strategic partner" with BitGo to provide bitcoin tokens packaged in wBTC. The dismissal of the lawsuit means that the lawsuit will not be filed.
