According to two people familiar with the matter, Pump.fun is looking to raise $1 billion through an initial coin offering and is considering sharing the protocol revenue with potential token holders.
It is unclear how much of Pump.fun revenue, if any, will be allocated to the upcoming PUMP tokens through a "buyback-driven utility structure," or whether this will include revenue generated by decentralized exchange PumpSwap, which launched earlier this year. Pump.fun did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
