Gavin Wood: Individuals do not plan to issue new tokens based on the JAM protocol

Polkadot founder Gavin Wood responded on the Polkadot forum to whether to issue a JAM token, saying: I personally do not plan to issue new tokens based on the JAM protocol, nor do I think it would be wise for Parity and the Web3 Foundation to issue such tokens. Of course, the leadership of these organizations can decide for themselves. I am generally opposed to actions that do not bring real net benefits to Polkadot, but I do continue to explore ideas that may bring long-term value to Polkadot, and sometimes involve new tokens, but these tokens are usually in a symbiotic relationship with DOT, rather than replacing it.
