Mark Dowding, chief investment officer for fixed income investments at RBC BlueBay Asset Management, said in a note that the firm continues to hear news of changes in asset allocation, leading to less demand for the dollar. He said: This trend is likely to continue. If there is a new round of volatility, the dollar could depreciate at a faster rate. He said this could be due to concerns that the dollar has been trading more like a risky asset in recent months. (Golden Ten)
