Dominic Williams, founder and chief scientist at the Dfinity Foundation, says people have really invested in the panacea now. It's like, 'Whoever has the best panacea, I'll invest because they have better marketing, 95% of blockchains are "junk" and the industry seems to care more about narrative than substance. The Internet Computer Protocol is the only "third generation" blockchain.
