Toma, an artificial intelligence voice startup, closed a $17 million Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z).
Founded in early 2024 by Monik Pamecha and Anthony Krivonos, Toma previously participated in Y Combinator's accelerator program. The company's artificial intelligence voice agents are now in use at more than 100 auto dealerships across the U.S., handling service reservations, parts orders, and customer phone calls and alleviating staffing issues. Toma plans to use the new funds to expand while continuing its subscription model.
