Secretary for the Treasury of Hong Kong: Plans to consider replacing the name "virtual assets" with "electronic money, electronic assets"

Hong Kong Legislative Council member Qiu Dagan called for "virtual assets" to be renamed "digital assets". In response, Hong Kong Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Hui Zhengyu agreed that the outside world may think that the expression of virtual assets is misunderstood, and responded that the current Hong Kong government will use "electronic money" and "electronic assets" for publicity. Although the current expression in the law has not been revised, the expression will be changed in the future.
