SlowMist has issued a security alert saying that Google Chrome (@googlechrome) has released an emergency patch to fix a high-risk zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2025-5419) that has been found to be actively exploited. The flaw, which exists in the V8 JavaScript engine, allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via crafted HTML pages.

Chrome 137.0.7151/.69 (Windows/macOS)
Chrome 137.0.7151 (Linux)
Users of Chromium-based browsers such as Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi should also update as soon as patches become available. Stay safe and update in a timely manner.
