Joe Lubin, CEO of Consensys and co-founder of Ethereum, revealed that the company is in talks with sovereign wealth funds and banks of a "large country" about the possibility of building infrastructure in the Ethereum ecosystem. Lubin predicted that Ethereum will usher in a decentralized super cycle and could become the core of the new global financial system. Last week, Consensys led by Lubin invested in SharpLink Gaming to raise $425 million to build an Ethereum treasury, sending the company's share price soaring by more than 400%. Meanwhile, Vitalik Buterin, another co-founder of Ethereum, said that the Ethereum blockchain capacity will increase by 10 times in the next year. Lubin called Ethereum the "gold standard of trust" and believes that its value may eventually surpass Bitcoin.
