Profits of national industrial enterprises above designated size rose by 4.3% from January to March 2024

On April 27th, from January to March, the total profit of industrial enterprises above designated size across the country was 1.50553 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.3% year-on-year. From January to March, among industrial enterprises above designated size, the total profit of state-controlled enterprises was 573.82 billion yuan, a decrease of 2.6% year-on-year; joint-stock enterprises realized a total profit of 1.1203 trillion yuan, an increase of 0.8%; foreign and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises realized a total profit of 373.75 billion yuan, an increase of 18.1%; private enterprises realized a total profit of 367.97 billion yuan, an increase of 5.8%. In March, the profits of industrial enterprises above designated size decreased by 3.5% year-on-year.
