Crypto market maker Wintermute says it has created code to inject warnings into verified malicious contracts that will alert Ethereum users if they encounter a potential attack that could drain their wallet funds. "Criminals are using malicious contracts to automate ETH transactions, please do not send any ETH," the warning message is understood to say. Wintermute added that the bytecode of the Ethereum virtual machine has now been reversed into human-readable Solidity code and publicly verified.
