French prosecutors have charged 25 suspects, including six minors, in the kidnapping of people in the cryptocurrency industry. Of the suspects, aged between 16 and 23, 18 have been placed in pretrial detention, three have applied for an extension of their hearing, and four are under judicial supervision. The case stems from an attempted kidnapping in Paris on May 13 against the daughter and grandson of Pierre Noizat, CEO of French cryptocurrency exchange Paymium. A similar attempt occurred the day before, and police foiled another kidnapping near Nantes a few days later. (Cointelegraph)
