Trade-in sales of consumer goods exceeded 1 trillion yuan this year

On June 1st, the reporter learned from the Ministry of Commerce that as of now, the sales of consumer goods trade-in this year have exceeded 1 trillion yuan. Since the beginning of this year, the trade-in of consumer goods has strongly driven the consumption to continue to recover. According to the data of the Ministry of Commerce, as of May 31st, the total sales of five major categories of consumer goods trade-in this year have been 1.10 trillion yuan, and about 175 million subsidies have been issued to consumers. Among them, the number of applications for trade-in subsidies for automobiles has reached 4.12 million; 49.863 million consumers have purchased 77.618 million sets of 12 categories of home appliances; 53.529 million consumers have purchased 56.629 million digital products such as mobile phones; 6.50 million electric bicycles have been traded in; home improvement kitchen and bathroom "renewal" 57.626 million.
