US stocks close: Google closes above $2 trillion for the first time, Nvidia rose 15% this week

U.S. stocks closed on Friday, with the three major stock indexes opening higher and closing higher. The Dow initially closed up 0.4%, the S & P 500 index rose 1.02%, and the Nasdaq index rose 2.03%. Google (GOOG. O) closed up 9.97%, closing more than $2 trillion in market value for the first time, and NVIDIA (NVDA. O) rose 6.18%, gaining 15% this week, the largest weekly gain since May 2023. Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index rose 2.46%.
