Since June 1, South Korea has allowed non-profit organizations to sell virtual assets, and Upbit has successfully supported the international relief development non-governmental organization World Vision to sell its holdings of 0.55 Ethereum (ETH) worth about 1.98 million won. This move was implemented in accordance with the Roadmap for Corporate Participation in the Virtual Asset Market issued by the Korean Financial Services Commission, which aims to promote the development of a culture of virtual asset donation.
Upbit operator Dunamu said it is ready to support listed companies and professional investor registration companies to participate in the virtual asset market, which is the second phase of the roadmap.
