Iran has made progress in talks over its nuclear programme, the head of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran said on Saturday. "We have seen some progress in indirect talks with the US [over Iran's nuclear programme]," Mr. Eslami was quoted as saying by Iran's state news agency. Mr. Trump had previously said a new nuclear deal with Iran should allow the US to destroy any of its nuclear facilities. At the same time, he noted that he believed a deal with Iran could be reached "within the next two weeks".
