On May 30 local time, the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the Trump administration's request and refused to suspend a lower court ruling. The ruling barred the Trump administration from advancing plans for large-scale layoffs of federal employees and restructuring of government entities.
