US media: Musk takes drugs "not occasionally"

According to the New York Times, when Musk supported Trump's bid for US president last year, he told people that he had taken an overdose of ketamine (a powerful narcotic) that affected his bladder, a well-known consequence of long-term use of the drug. He also took "ecstasy pills" and "psychedelic mushrooms". It is unclear whether Musk, 53, was using drugs when he became a fixture in the White House this year and was given powers to cut federal bureaucracy. Musk and his lawyers did not respond to requests for comment this week about his drug use and personal life.
