On May 30, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian presided over a regular press conference. Lin Jian said that this morning, the signing ceremony of the International Court of Mediation Convention was held in Hong Kong, China. Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended and delivered a speech. Representatives of 32 countries signed the Convention and became founding members of the International Court of Mediation. Lin Jian pointed out that the International Court of Mediation, as an innovation in the field of international rule of law, is of great significance in the history of international relations. It fills the gap in the mechanism in the field of international mediation and provides important public goods under the rule of law for improving global governance.
