Tether CEO: 95% of profits will be used to continue reinvesting in bitcoin

"We have been particularly in the spotlight recently for generating huge profits," said Paolo Ardoino, Tether's chief executive, in a speech at the Bitcoin 2025 conference. "Over the past three years we have made about $20 billion. We have distributed less than 5 per cent of our profits to shareholders and 95 per cent has been used to expand our distribution network and continue to reinvest in Bitcoin, which we will discuss later."
