According to the Washington Post, citing blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis data, as of 3 p.m. ET on May 28, the top 20 U.S. cryptocurrency holdings were worth about $20.90 billion, including $20.40 billion worth of bitcoin and about $493 million worth of other digital assets. The funds were obtained through criminal activities such as theft of funds, scams, and dark web market sales.
