Tesla investors want Musk to work at least 40 hours a week

Tesla (TSLA. O) investors sent a letter to Tesla's board chairperson on Wednesday saying Elon Musk needs to spend more time with the company. "Tesla's volatile stock price, declining sales, and plummeting global reputation are of serious concern," they wrote. "In addition, many of the issues are related to Musk's behavior outside of his role as tech king and CEO at Tesla, including his high-profile role as architect at the U.S. Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE)." They believe Tesla is facing a "crisis", in part because of Musk's "absence" and the board's seeming "unwillingness to act in the best interests of all Tesla shareholders." Investors want Tesla's board to require Musk to work at least 40 hours a week as a condition of any new compensation plan they may arrange for him.
