On April 26, the Nanjing Municipal Public Security Bureau recently issued the "Notice on Matters Relating to Legal and Stable Residence Settling (exposure draft) ", which mentioned that "in order to implement the relevant work deployment requirements of the municipal government, deepen the reform of the household registration system in our city, and promote the household registration system with habitual residence in an orderly manner, the municipal bureau has studied and decided to further relax the settlement conditions, and non-Nanjing household registration personnel who have legal and stable residences in this city and actually live can directly apply for settlement." The draft is now open to the public for comments, and the deadline for feedback is May 6, 2024.
