The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that the "public comment" phase of the WisdomTree XRP Spot ETF has ended, "initiating a further review process" for it, and has not yet directly approved or rejected it.
The SEC officially accepted WisdomTree's XRP ETF application on February 19, 2025 and initiated a public comment period, which has now ended. The SEC has the right to extend the review period to a maximum of 240 days, with a final decision to be announced by the end of October 2025 at the latest.
