After fixing a long-standing bug in the stacks-node memory pool synchronization logic, the Bitcoin Layer 2 project Stacks resumed block production and advised miners and signers to upgrade to v3.1.0.0.11, not enough. Stacks warned that performance may occasionally drop before all miners complete the upgrade, and urged that the scheme be adopted as soon as possible to stabilize block production, and more fixes will be made in the future. It is reported that the vulnerability dates back to 2020, but the developer revealed that the problem only emerged due to increased data load.
