According to Forbes, U.S. President Donald Trump used the presidential seal at the $TRUMP Investors Dinner at Trump National Golf Club on Thursday, even though the White House said he was attending the event on "personal time."
Under U.S. federal law, the presidential seal cannot be used in a manner that could "convey a false impression of government sponsorship or approval," and violators can be fined or jailed for up to six months. Trump arrived at the dinner by military helicopter from the White House to address 220 top investors who have collectively put about $148 million into $TRUMP tokens.
