Consensys founder Joseph Lubin said on Warpcast that any DEGEN tip received will be used to defend the Ethereum ecosystem.
Previously reported, Ethereum infrastructure development company Consensys sued the US SEC for illegal power grab over Ethereum. The company wants a federal court to declare that Ethereum is not a security, and any investigation of ConsenSys based on the idea that Ethereum is a security would violate the company's Fifth Amendment Rights and Administrative Procedure Act, MetaMask is not a broker under federal law, MetaMask's staking service does not violate securities laws, and prohibits the SEC from investigating or taking enforcement action related to MetaMask's exchange or staking functions.
