On May 23rd, the U.S. stock market closed slightly lower on Thursday, with the S & P 500 index closing down 0.04% and the Nasdaq Composite index closing up 0.28%. Google (GOOG. O) rose 1.3%, NVIDIA (NVDA. O) rose nearly 1%, Pinduoduo (PDD. O) rose 3% and GME. N (GME. N) rose 10%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 1.2%, Alibaba (BABA. N) fell 1.7% and XPeng Motors (XPEV. N) fell nearly 8%.
