On May 21, Mr. Ng Kit-chuang said in his speech during the deliberation of the Stablecoin Bill of the Hong Kong Legislative Council that the stablecoin legislated by the Bill is based on fiat currency assets, but in addition to Hong Kong dollars or US dollars, offshore RMB and other assets can also be explored and considered.
